Built for the
Bering Sea

Founded by Thomas Taylor, Au Sum Technologies LLC is engineering the next generation of offshore mining tools. We operate at the intersection of fluid dynamics, signal processing, and marine engineering — building systems designed from the ground up for Alaska's extreme subsea conditions.

Our strategy is built around partnership. We develop the technology; experienced offshore operators bring vessels, permits, local knowledge, and hard-won field experience. Together, we expand recovery capability without replacing what already works.

Field Operations

Nome, Alaska —
Ground Zero

The offshore Nome district contains extensive subsea placer ground beyond the practical operating depth of many conventional diver-supported and excavator-mounted recovery systems. The red boundary line on the nautical chart illustrates a real operational constraint: many existing systems are concentrated in shallow nearshore zones around the 32-foot, one-atmosphere range. Au Sum Technologies is developing integrated detection and dredging systems intended to expand offshore operating capability, improve target identification, and support deeper-water recovery in partnership with established Bering Sea operators.

The Depth BarrierMany current systems concentrate near 32ft. With fewer constraints — Au Sum Technologies is developing systems for deeper offshore environments

Partnering With
Offshore Operators

🤝

Technology + Experience

Au Sum Technologies brings integrated detection and dredging systems. Bering Sea operators bring vessels, permits, local knowledge, and hard-won field experience. Together, both sides work toward improved recovery efficiency and reduced unproductive dredging.

⚙️

Retrofit & Deploy

Our systems are engineered to integrate with existing dredge operations. No need to replace your vessel or overhaul your workflow — we augment what's already working with precision detection and recovery upgrades.

📈

Shared Upside

Partnership terms can be structured around results. Licensing, royalties, and revenue-sharing arrangements align our incentives with operators — we succeed when recovery efficiency improves.

Less Guesswork

Real-time detection and feedback can help operators make better decisions on the bottom, reduce unproductive dredging, lower production costs, and focus effort where recovery potential is strongest.

Beyond the Red Line

Many current recovery systems are concentrated in shallow nearshore zones around the 32-foot, one-atmosphere range. Au Sum Technologies is developing systems intended to support deeper offshore operating environments where recovery has historically been constrained.

Capability Expansion

Au Sum Technologies is focused on practical integration with existing offshore operations: modular detection, sediment disruption, and hydraulic recovery systems designed to enhance capability without replacing the operator's vessel or workflow.

Let's Mine
Together

We're actively seeking Bering Sea operators interested in deploying Au Sum Technologies technology on their vessels. If you're running a dredge operation and want to improve recovery efficiency through target identification and integrated subsea systems, let's talk.
